PSYC 290 - Psychological Research and Statistics I
Introduces the nature of empirical investigation in psychology and the role of data analysis in psychological research. Students learn the value of research methodology as applied to the field of psychology with a focus on concepts and interpretation of basic research design and statistical analysis. A weekly lab introduces data analysis software applications. Prereq: PSYC 100 and Tier I Quantitative Reasoning. Coreq: PSYC 290L.
